Rigidchips Visual Model Designer

Post by Timothy Ashtön on Fri Feb 04, 2011 10:28 am

I've noticed over time with changes made to Wiki, people can accidently move file or .exe around and error links come up.

Though on << http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RigidChips >> the << RigidChips Designer (English) - Direct Download >> link that it's not the designer anymore, or at least the same file I recognize.

It gives you a .lzh (LZH) not a zip or exe. << rcd022.lzh >> Was this the file it was always set too, or is it because I'm missing some setup files or was it changed?

Kinda lost on this because I have the old visual model that I got from the same link when I found RC for the first time and it's different. bounce

That is the correct file for RCD. It has been updated from ver0.21 to 0.22. You have to unpack the lzh with a software that supports this format.

Yes, there was. The most notable new feature is a dialogue box that allows you to choose the text formatting of save files (not the file format, but the indents, spaces, etc), which, unfortunately, doesn't seem to work on Win7. Neutral

I was actual shocked at the part of Rc had an -update-
Wow, I see some of the changes... I do say this is handy.
But as always RC has a long way to go. Very Happy
and hopefully more popular!

I don't mean to blow your excitement, but RCD is not the official "part" of RC. It is just one of the few fan-made GUI editors that happens to be the best, thus the most popular one.

Does it work with Vista? If not I'm almost positive those guys who 'updated' RCD have Macs...

Meh. Even if RCD is not officially apart of RC, I am still suprised anything is 'updated'.

It works on Windows 7 and Windows xp...you just have to type in .txt
or If you want just type in a name and it will automaticly save it as a .rcd file, there will be some times when it will not and you have to type in .rcd.

Ummm, kinda a month old to reply but I was asking if the update to RCD was compatible with vista, xp or 7. I tested it right after and it all work.

What's is really noticeable is what protection your computer has, Sophos is not a good one it always argues with rc. Avast is a maybe.

I also know the majority of rcd, only thing I don't know is panekit... What it is or does I got no clue.

If that info is correct, that is most likely why, I don't really play any Playstation games, mainly 360.
